TITANIC 2012

This series of images explore the Titanic tragedy that moonless night of April the 14th, 1912.
A scale model of the ship and the iceberg allowed me to recreate a bird's-eye view of the scene, experimenting with lens aperture and depth of field to obtain each image from a different point of view.
For me that moment symbolizes the universal illusion of having the power to stop history, to go back and miss the obstacle, to have enough time to react before the inevitable happens.
