Space has been of concern to artists and philosophers through history.

My thesis project is a visual essay on the perception of space and the way it has been depicted.

I present specific moments in history as markers where artists, representing physical space in two dimensions, have reflected in their work the conjunction between art, science and technology.

Historically, artists have explored and reacted to what is around them offering a synthesis, a vision, of things to come.

It is in this light that I look at art history for a cue on the role of artists now, time of intercultural societies, global economies, and fast communications.
